Petra joined KPMG Slovakia in 2005 in the audit department. She worked as an assistant auditor on financial audit engagements of companies (Slovak GAAP and IFRS) operating on the Slovak market. She also performed SOX risk assessments and controls as part of the audit.

In 2013, she moved to the Risk & Compliance department to assist with business entity consolidation and financial statement presentation. Since 2019, she has worked on projects within the Talent Solutions team. She has worked on accounting consulting projects where she was responsible for the consolidation process of complex groups of companies. She also supervised the work of junior team members in KPMG’s Digital Audit Centre and assisted in creating a new set of controls for internal KYC procedures in line with KPMG’s methodology.

She has been a member of ACCA since 2017. As a lecturer, she focuses on financial accounting and business simulation.
