Safe and sustainable workplace and business, CX and cybersecurity – ESG topics related to workforce and customer
This certification block focuses on ESG topics related to workforce, customers, and ethical behavior. You will gain an overview of the requirements concerning working conditions, human rights, customer impacts, and transparent business practices. We will also explain why cybersecurity is an important ESG topic in the context of trust and data protection.
You will gain an overview of how to put these topics into everyday practice and support the sustainable and transparent operation of your organization.
Module 9 will introduce you to the key requirements for reporting on working conditions, human rights, and inclusion in accordance with the ESRS S1 Own Workforce and ESRS S2 Value Chain Workers standards. Participants will gain an overview of how to ensure transparency towards their own employees and workers throughout the value chain.
Module 10 focuses on sustainable business, community relations, customer experience, ethical behavior, and transparency in line with the ESRS S3, S4, and G1 standards. A separate section is also dedicated to cybersecurity in the context of ESG reporting.
Module 9: Safe and Sustainable Workplace – ESG Workforce Topics
June 9, 2026 (8:30 AM – 12:00 PM)
We will focus primarily on:
– Practical application of both standards in model situations
– Equality, diversity, inclusion, and a safe working environment
– Requirements related to working conditions, rights, and responsibilities toward employees and external workers
– Compliance with human rights in the context of ESG reporting
After completing the training, you will know:
– What information needs to be disclosed according to ESRS S1 and ESRS S2
– How to assess impacts, risks, and opportunities across the organization and the value chain
– How to apply these principles in your own practice
Module 10: Sustainable Business, Customer Experience, and Cybersecurity in the Context of ESG
June 9, 2025 (1:00 PM – 4:30 PM)
We will focus on:
– Community relations and social impact (ESRS S3 – Affected Communities)
– Customer experience and its importance for sustainability (ESRS S4 – Consumers and End Users)
– Ethical and transparent business practices, including cybersecurity and data protection (ESRS G1 – Business Conduct)
After completing the training, you will know:
– How to assess relationships with communities and impacts on end users
– How cybersecurity relates to ESG reporting and why it is crucial for transparency
– What disclosures are required by ESRS S3, S4, and G1

The fee includes:
Training materials, refreshments during breaks and lunch, and KPMG ESG certificates.
After completing modules 1, 3, and 5–10, you have the option to take an online test and, upon passing, receive a KPMG ESG Certificate for the respective module. For modules 2 and 4, the KPMG ESG Certificate for the respective module is awarded based on participation in the training.
