Sustainability Reporting: Theory and Application to a Case Study
The introductory day of the training will guide you through the fundamentals of sustainability reporting. You will gain an overview of CSRD, ESRS, and the key requirements of ESG reporting. The training reflects the simplified ESRS 2.0 standards, including the key changes.
You will then learn the double materiality process in practice using a model company – from identifying topics to setting priorities. You will understand how to lay the foundations for an ESG strategy and prepare for reporting under the ESRS.
Introductory Module 1 will quickly and clearly orient you in the basics of ESG reporting. You will gain a clear picture of the main requirements of European legislation and how the key standards on which sustainability reporting is based work.
In Module 2, you will gain a practical understanding of the double materiality process and the key requirements of the ESRS. Using a model company, you will go through the entire materiality assessment process, from identifying topics to setting priorities and learn methodologies that you can immediately apply in your own organization.
