Responsible use of resources: EUDR and the circular economy
This certification block combines two key topics of ESG reporting: the EUDR requirements for responsible supply chains and the principles of the circular economy that promote the efficient use of resources. You will gain an overview of how these areas affect sustainable business and what they mean for corporate practice.
Within the EUDR, you will understand the obligations, risks, and due diligence steps that organizations must implement. You will then focus on the circular economy: its benefits, integration into business processes, and how to measure the level of circularity using relevant indicators.
The EUDR significantly changes the requirements for commodity origin oversight and supply chain control. In this Module 5, you will gain an overview of who the EUDR applies to, what obligations it entails, and what practical steps are necessary to fulfill due diligence.
The circular economy is becoming an important part of corporate strategies and ESRS requirements. In Module 6, you will understand its key principles, its impact on business, and how to integrate it into your processes. You will also gain an overview of how to measure circularity practically and effectively.
