This workshop is designed for those who have already encountered basic ESG reporting terminology and want to deepen their practical understanding of the reporting requirements under the CSRD and ESG standards.

During the training, experienced lecturers will guide you through the steps and concepts using a specific case study based on a model company, with all activities being conducted with an emphasis on practical application.

Training content:

    • Introduction to CSRD and ESRS: a brief summary of the legislative requirements and their relevance for organisations, the main changes.
    • Dual relevance: explanation of the concept and a common view of the assessment process
    • The value chain: how to think about suppliers, customers and other value chain actors in the context of sustainability
    • Identifying risks, opportunities and impacts (IRO): how to work with these aspects in practice
    • Stakeholders: we will show you methods for effective stakeholder engagement
    • Identification of major themes: joint selection and assessment of major ESG themes
    • GAP analysis to ESRS (ESRS mapping): how to assess compliance with standards and identify gaps
    • The EU Taxonomy: a practical example for assessing and reporting on sustainable activities
    • CSRD reporting: appropriate content structure.

    After the workshop you will be able to:

    • Apply the CSRD and ESRS requirements to specific situations in your organisation
    • Use the principles of double materiality to set up ESG reporting in a meaningful way
    • Recognize and analyze relevant ESG risks, opportunities and impacts
    • Identify eligible activities according to the EU taxonomy and report them correctly
    • Map ESG data requirements
    • Structure a CSRD report
